Albers School faculty and staff visit SJIM to strength collaboration between schools

On 11th December 2019, a few faculty and staff from the Albers School of Business and Economics (Seattle University, USA) visited SJIM. The purpose of the visit was to further strengthen the collaboration between the two business schools. SJIM had signed an MoU with Seattle University a few years back and has been actively collaborating with the Albers School ever since.

The existing partnership between the two schools includes a jointly hosted international business plan competition that brings together students from both schools through virtual teams; SJIM students have visited Seattle University in last two years as part of their USA Immersion Program, which provides students with an exposure to another culture from educational, industrial, and cultural perspectives; and faculty from both schools have been interacting over the years through joint research projects.

The visiting team included Dr. Madhu Rao (Assoc. Dean of the Albers School), Dr. Ajay Abraham (marketing faculty at Albers), Ms. Amelia Marckworth (Assoc. Director of Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship), Ms. Megan Spaulding (Manager of internships and experiential programs), and Ms. Evinn Hickey (Senior Academic Advisor for undergraduate programs).
