POSH Reimagined Workshop: A Collaboration between NCW, Inclusional, and SJIM


“National Commission of Women, Inclusional, and SJIM recently teamed up for a workshop on creating safer workplaces, "POSH Reimagined," uniting experts to discuss sexual harassment prevention and inclusion in the workplace. The workshop was spearheaded by three passionate speakers, including Priyanka Agarwal, Head of Inclusion, Jayati Doshi, Head of Culture Consulting, and Nazia Memon, Assistant Professor at SJIM specializing in diversity and inclusion.

Priyanka Agarwal drawing from her KPMG background, highlighted the execution and implementation of POSH shaping a progressive corporate environment free from sexual harassment. Jayati Doshi explained the gravity of workplace harassment and emphasized on POSH's significance and provided practical strategies for seamless integration. Nazia Memon, an expert in HR and Diversity and Inclusion research, shared insights on the benefits of prioritizing POSH initiatives. Her research-backed approach laid a foundation for understanding POSH's role in fostering a truly inclusive workplace.

The event, attended by around 90 participants from the corporate circle, Tesco, Reliance Industries, Titan, Accenture, Wipro, IKEA, AccentureNGO’S and academic institutes to name a few highlighted the need for organizations to create harassment-free environments and emphasized the workshop's role in empowering participants to advocate for POSH practices. The collaboration symbolizes a commitment to positive workplace change, showcasing the potential for fostering safety and inclusivity.
