Guest Lecture Report - “Sustainability: A key goal for Business ethics” and “Gender equalities”


On November 26, 2022, Ms Shobha Sylvia Veigas delivered a guest lecture on the topics of "Sustainability: A key goal for Business ethics" and "Gender equalities." Ms Shobha is the State Lead - Awareness Generation and Capacity Building, UNDP-SDGCC Karnataka and providing technical support to the Planning Department, Government of Karnataka.

The lecture aimed to provide insights into the importance of these topics in the context of business ethics and corporate social responsibility. During the first part of the lecture, Shobha highlighted the critical role of sustainability in today's business world. She discussed the impact of businesses on the environment and the need for companies to adopt sustainable practices to ensure long-term success. In the second part of the lecture, Shobha discussed gender equality in the workplace.
