Guest lecture was conducted for Operations domain on 17th Nov, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Guest Speaker Mr. K.S.V.Chalapathi, Associate Vice President, Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd Bangalore, had taken a lecture on “Role of Planning in a Successful Business.”

Mr. Chalapathi explained the nine basic parameters to be considered in a business which includes strategy, organization structure, people and culture, technology etc. He also explained about the various risks involved in a supply chain and all the possible solutions to minimize the risk, the assumptions made in a business and discussed in detail the five key strategies to be focused for the sustainable growth of any business. He explained every term with a very easy-to-understand example.

The lecture concluded with answering a few questions asked by the students. The session was really interesting and informative as it highlighted all the aspects of a business and the importance of proper planning.
