Mr. Sony Anthony, Partner and Co-Head of Cyber Defense and Incident Response, Global Head – Cyber in Deals at KPMG, delivered a fascinating and resourceful lecture on "Cyber Security Challenges – For the Enterprise and the Individual" as part of the Business Ethics course. The PGDM students of SJIM were captivated by the in-depth analysis of the topic and the intriguing aspects of cybersecurity, where even the most intelligent individuals can be duped. The students actively participated in the lecture, posing a variety of questions.

With 29 years of consultancy and industry experience in cybersecurity, Sony has provided advice to clients on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, transformation, and response. He held the attention of the 240 students by recounting numerous incidents and discussing various issues related to cybersecurity and its repercussions on different domains of business. Cyber frauds and malpractices pose not only a significant ethical concern but also highlight the imperative for business executives and managers to exercise caution, remain vigilant, and uphold ethical standards in every aspect of their online dealings. Fr Olvin Veigas, SJ, who teaches Business Ethics at SJIM moderated the lecture.
