Freshers’ Day

St. Joseph’s Institute of Management celebrated Freshers’ Day with a lot of joy & enthusiasm. The entire program was organized by the seniors for their juniors. The afternoon began with a short welcome address from the Dean, Dr A R Rajagopalan, and a few games to get the juniors active and competitive. The juniors then competed in a short film & a dance competition going head-to-head against the other sections where they got to show how immensely creative & talented the new batch of SJIM is. The senior dancers put together a number of beautifully choreographed performances to get the crowd moving & cheering along with them. Finally, the senior singers & musicians took to the stage & performed a number of songs in different languages which led to the atmosphere in the auditorium to turn into that of a concert where everyone was just moving together, singing along & having a good time. The program ended with a small dance session where the seniors & juniors just mingled and had fun as they left the auditorium. The Freshers’ Day program was a great success with students & faculty enjoying the talent, creativity & energy of the SJIM family.
