The first-ever TEDx SJIM was successfully hosted at St. Joseph’s Institute of Management
(SJIM) on 20th September 2025 at Loyola Auditorium, under the theme “Reinventing the
Status Quo.”
The event brought together inspiring speakers from diverse fields who shared powerful ideas
on creativity, resilience, sustainable growth, and emotional well-being.
The distinguished speakers included:
● Anusha Stephen – Founder, The Talking Canvas (Entrepreneurship & Creativity)
● Sunitha Ram – Media Professional (Film & Media)
● Mathew Isac – Executive Coach & Founder, VentureBean (Sustainable Growth)
● Gayatri Abraham – Founder, Padme Foundation (Adoption & Emotional Well-being)
● Lakshmi Priyaa T.T. – National Chess Player & Founder, Life Purified (Sustainability & Wellness)
Anchored by Ajith Nair, Renita Susan Mathew, Poorvitha G, and Kim Fenwick, the event
featured cultural elements, engaging sessions, and impactful discussions.
Key highlights included entrepreneurship rooted in authenticity, resilience in life and
business, emotional awareness, and building sustainable enterprises.
The program concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Rajiv Noronha, Dean of SJIM,
followed by the vote of thanks from Ankit P Avlani and the SJIM Anthem.
