On 01 March 2024, The yearly student sports event Joseph’s Premier League 2023-24, popularly known as JPL had its grand finishing on 19 th February 2024. Inaugurated on 14 th October 2023 in the quadrangle of SJIM campus, it saw entire student body witnessing the event. The event commenced with the banner reveal for JPL and all the 6 Teams followed by a small performance by the teams for 2 minutes each. The first sport to commence JPL-2023 was Basketball which took place on 19th October 2023 followed by table tennis.

The entire JPL continued until February 2024 and the last game to close the event was Kabaddi on 15th February 2024. Chess. Carrom, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Throwball, Foosball, Tug of War, Kabaddi, Esports, Fifa doubles, Basketball and TT were the 14 games included.

The JPL event served as a platform for students to showcase their athleticism, sportsmanship, and teamwork. It fostered a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie amongst participants and spectators alike. While team Nyx emerged victorious, the event witnessed stellar performances from individual players across all teams. Tejas from Nyx Rudra from Hades and women’s category, Archana from Athena and Gabriella from Nyx were awarded the ‘Most Valuable Player’ title for their consistent contributions.
