Exploring Excellence: SJIM Student’s Industrial Visit to Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages


St. Joseph’s Institute of Management organized an industrial visit to Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCB) in Bidadi, Karnataka to get first-hand knowledge to students. Forty-seven students and two faculty members explored the Coca-Cola manufacturing plant, gaining knowledge of the production process and advanced automated technologies ensuring market demand. The production managers as guides gave inner working of the company’s production system, standards, strategies and operations.

Safety measures were emphasized upon entry, followed by an informative session from Mr Dinesh on HCCB's significant contributions. SJIM students were thrilled to know that there are 65,000 employees, 95% locally sourced ingredients, benefitting 2.5 lakh farmers. The industrial visit showcased HCCB's commitment to sustainability, with initiatives in green energy, water reuse, and waste management. The company highlighted HCCB's achievements, including 110+ awards and its focus on innovation and excellence. Prof Raghu, the visiting faculty for ERP at SJIM organized the trip.
