St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (SJIM) inaugurated the new academic year by welcoming its incoming batch (2025–2027) through an induction ceremony held on June 2, 2025, followed by a comprehensive Orientation Week designed to introduce students to the values, academic expectations, and vibrant life at SJIM.

The inaugural ceremony was honoured by the presence of: Mr. Sandeep Kumar S, CEO of Safran Engineering Services India (Chief Guest) Rev. Dr. Daniel Fernandes SJ, Rector and Vice President, BJES,Rev. (Dr). Roshan David Pereira SJ, Director, SJIM Dr. Rajiv Noronha, Dean ,Prof. V.J. Lawrence, Dean ,Academics, Mr. Rahul Gowda Patil, Student Council General Secretary

The orientation featured sessions on Business Communication, Personality Development, Introduction to Management Studies, Team Building, Jesuit Education, SJIM Values & Mission, Rural Immersion, Internship Guidance, Counselling and Library Orientation.

A highlight of the week was the Group Dynamics session led by Fr. Francis D’Almeida SJ, which fostered interpersonal bonding and set the tone for collaboration and peer support.

With this holistic beginning, SJIM aims to nurture its students into professionals who are not only academically competent but also value-driven and socially conscious.
