The academic year of 2022-24 at St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (SJIM) began on 18th July 2022 with an inauguration ceremony for the new batch of management students. The institute welcomed the bright young minds on their new journey of becoming management leaders of tomorrow. The program began with a prayer song followed by lighting of the lamp. The respected Director, Rev Dr Manoj D’Souza SJ, and the Dean, Dr A R Rajagopalan, gave valuable insights into what the students can look forward to in their time here as well as what would be expected of them in the coming two years.

The chief guest for the event was Dr Mahesh Bhatt, an individual with vast experience who is currently operating as the Chief Business Officer at Teamlease Services Ltd. His words inspired the students and made them believe that the choice of pursuing a PGDM was the right one. The event was concluded with a few well put words from 2 students of the new batch who shared their backgrounds and why they chose to pursue a PGDM at SJIM. They also motivated their peers to make the best of all opportunities that were coming their way in their time at this institute.
