Ignatian Week 2026 at SJIM

St. Joseph’s Institute of Management celebrated Ignatian Week 2026 from 27–30 July with enthusiasm, creativity and spiritual fervour. The celebrations honoured the life and legacy of St. Ignatius of Loyola, inspiring the SJIM community to embrace the values of service, reflection and excellence.

The Ignatian Week celebrations commenced with the Banner Reveal by Dean Dr. Rajiv Noronha and Associate Dean Dr. Anup Krishnamurthy.followed by a series of engaging competitions including Collage Making – “Elevation: Pieces with Purpose,” Creative Writing – “Ink for Impact,” Group Singing – “Voces Pro Aliis,” Videography – “Cura Personalis,” and a Quiz on St. Ignatius and Jesuit heritage.

The celebrations culminated on 30 July, with Director Rev. Dr. Roshan David Pereira SJ addressing the gathering and highlighting the inspiring life journey of St. Ignatius of Loyola and the rich heritage of Jesuit history and education. The programme featured an interfaith prayer, cultural performances, a short play, interactive activities, and soulful performances by the SJIM Choir and Band. The event concluded with prize distribution, with the Second-Year students emerging as the Overall Winners, followed by the College Anthem. The event was organised under the guidance and leadership of Rev. Fr. Prashanth Wesley D’Souza SJ, Campus Animator; Mr. Jena S, Campus Ministry In-charge; Mr. Jeswin Reeves, Campus Ministry Student Coordinator; and the dedicated Campus Ministry Team. Their collective efforts and commitment contributed significantly to making Ignatian Week 2026 a meaningful and memorable celebration
