St. Joseph’s Institute of Management hosted an insightful HR Conclave on “The Integration of AI in HR and Maintaining Human Connection” on 22 August 2026 at Loyola Auditorium. The conclave featured Prof. Apurva Sanaria,Faculty,OB &HR IIM Bangalore Ms. Nivedita Lakshmiprasad, Senior HR Manager Oracle India and Mr. Milanjyothi Sahu, Talent Management Specialist Daimler Truck with Mr. Kim Andrew Fenwick, HR Domain Student Head moderating the engaging discussion.

Fr Dr Roshan David Pereira, SJ, Director, SJIM, highlighted AI as a tool to enhance human work, while Dr Rajiv Noronha, Dean, SJIM, emphasised the importance of preserving the human element in a rapidly changing world.

The discussion explored ethical AI adoption, AI governance, accountability, employee training and the growing importance of interpersonal skills. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session with students and a vote of thanks.

The event was organised by the Team of HR & OB Faculties of SJIM.
