Students from SJIM visited the Deccapel Fashions factory located in Peenya Industrial Area. DeccapelFashions is an exporterof leather garments and manufactures for brands across the world.

Mr. Sagar, the operations-in-charge showed the factory around and explained the various processes involved in leather manufacturing. The process of creating a jacket have several steps- measuring the raw material, precision cutting, matching the colours, fusing it with other materials like wool, cotton etc.

Mr. Anantha Narayana, the General Manager and Mr. Nishan Marc Pereira explained about the company, various export processes and also clarified the doubts that students raised on running a business, its challenges and opportunities.
