The event, themed “Celebrating 25 Years of Legacy, Learning, and Leadership,” brought together alumni, faculty, students, and distinguished guests in a spirit of nostalgia, pride, and togetherness.

The formal proceedings were graced by eminent dignitaries including Mr. Kewin Kuriath, CEO – Mobility Aftermarket Pvt. Ltd. and alumnus of the SJCBA 1998 batch (Chief Guest); Rev. Dr. Daniel Fernandes SJ, Rector, St. Joseph’s Institutions and Vice President, BJES; Rev. Dr. Roshan Pereira SJ, Director, SJIM; Rev. Fr. Prashant D’Souza SJ, Finance Officer, SJIM; Dr. Rajiv Noronha, Dean, SJIM; Dr. Avil Saldanha, Dean – Alumni Relations; and Ms. Surekha J, Alumni Student Coordinator, SJIM.

The evening began with a warm informal gathering of the Silver Jubilarians, providing an opportunity to reconnect and relive cherished campus memories. A heartfelt address by the Dean – Alumni Relations reaffirmed the enduring bond between SJIM and its alumni, followed by a solemn moment of silence in loving memory of Shradhanjali (SJCBA 1996–1998). The formal programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge, unity, and new beginnings, followed by an invocation dance that set an auspicious tone. The Chief Guest shared inspiring reflections on his professional journey and the formative role SJIM played in shaping his career. This was complemented by addresses from the Director and the Dean, highlighting SJIM’s academic growth, innovation, alumni engagement, and future vision.

A major highlight of the evening was the release of the Alumni Newsletter, showcasing the achievements and journeys of SJIM alumni across diverse sectors. Cultural performances by current students added vibrancy to the celebrations, while the felicitation of the Silver Jubilee batches formed the emotional core of the event, honouring alumni with mementos in recognition of their lasting association and contributions.

The Rector’s message underscored the importance of alumni mentorship, collaboration, and sustained engagement with the institution. Special performances by alumni and an insight-sharing session further enriched the programme, offering motivation and inspiration to current students.

The celebrations concluded with a group song, followed by a heartfelt vote of thanks, marking the Alumni Meet 2026 as a proud chapter in SJIM’s journey—one that reaffirmed its rich legacy and commitment to nurturing lifelong relationships beyond the classroom.

The event was organised by Dr. Avil Saldanha, dean of Alumni Relations, Ms. Annie, Alumni Coordinator and Ms. Surekha student Alumni Coordinator.
