Blood Donation Camp-2017 Conducted at SJIM

Blood donation is one of the most significant contributions that a person can make towards the society. It is not harmful for an adult person to donate blood. St. Joseph’s Institute of Management in association with The Indian Red Cross Society had organized a Blood donation camp in the college premises on 13th July 2017.

On this occasion, the chief guest for the function, Dr Sunil V Nayak, congratulated the Management and the students of SJIM for coming forward to organize this event. He stressed on the growing need of blood in the state and commended the young volunteers for their noble act.

The blood donors were given refreshments after donating the blood in order to reenergize themselves. The blood donors were provided with a blood donation certificate by the Indian Red Cross Society. 72 students and staff volunteered in this camp for donating blood.
