St. Joseph Institute of Management celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava on 16th November 2022 with great joy and enthusiasm. The chief guest for the event was Shri T. S. Nagabharana and the guest of honour was Smt. Dr.VijayalakshmiSathyamurthy. Shri T.S.Nagabharana is an exceptional film maker, actor, and writer having won many national awards. He is also the pioneer of parallel cinema.

The event began with flag hoisting by the chief guest and song performance by the faculty of SJIM. The entire college was in hues of red and yellow symbolizing peace and prosperity among the people of Karnataka. The chief guest’s speech emphasized on how welcoming the state is to outsiders. The non-teaching staffs were also felicitated for their service to college.

The beats of chenda, pulikali and the traditional yakshagana performance lifted the entire atmosphere. The event ended with an amazing dance performance by the cultural team on various music hits followed by a melodious songs performed by the college band.
